- Use Orbi in Router mode and enable IP passthrough on the second device.
How to Set Up Orbi in AP Mode?
- Connect your PC to Orbi’s network via WiFi or LAN connection.
- Visit orbilogin.net or orbilogin.com or 192.168.1.1 to access the login page.
- Key in the admin login details and reach the web interface or the Basic Home page.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Select Advanced > Router/AP Mode.
- Choose AP mode by clicking on the radio button.
- Select Get dynamically from the router.
- Save the settings.

Steps to Turn Off WIFI on AT&T Fiber Gateway
- On a computer that’s connected to the AT&T fiber gateway, fire up an internet browser.
- Type 192.168.1.254 to log in to the gateway.
- Input the gateway login password.
- Upon logging in, navigate to the dashboard.
- Select Local Network >WiFi.
- Under WiFi Operation, turn off WiFi.
- Click on the Apply button and save the changes.
How to Set Up IP Passthrough on ATT Modem?
- Log in to your AT&T fiber router on a device connected to its network.
- Click on the Firewall tab.
- Click on IP Passthrough under the Firewall tab.
- Key in the Access Code if prompted.
- From the Allocation Mode drop-down, choose the Passthrough option.
- Now, select DHCPS-dynamic using the drop-down.
- Click on Save.
- Click on Restart Now to confirm the Restart process when prompted.
- The new settings will be applied during the reboot process.
- Power cycle the network so that your Orbi router receives the public IP address.
